Pediatric Dentistry

From infancy to adolescents, taking care of your child’s teeth is important because great oral health supports speech development, gums, cavity prevention, and creates space for permanent ‘adult’ teeth. At Noor Family Dentistry, we want to set your children up for success, one tooth at a time!

As a patient of Noor Family Dentistry, you are a part of our family, and our experienced team loves working with younger patients. We invest in each child and look forward to getting to know them throughout the years.

We approach Pediatric Dentistry in 6 easy steps:

1 | Comprehensive Oral Evaluation

We are dedicated to performing consistent & beneficial treatments to our young patients every 6 months. Because children’s teeth and mouths are constantly, changing, we recommend oral evaluations every sic months to prevent cavities and other dental problems. By incorporating dental X-rays, we are able to identify decay, extra teeth, bone defects, tumors, cysts, and check the progress of previous procedures.

2 | Cleaning

At Noor Family Dentistry, we are dedicated to maintaining healthy gums and cavity-free teeth in your children. Our dental cleaning includes removing tartar/plaque and polishing teeth to remove stains and prevent further buildup of plaque.

3 | Dental Sealant

We love Dental Sealants! These sealants are made of a safe resin material which is applied to the surfaces of teether (commonly permanent molars) to prevent cavities. The sealant material fills in the crevices of a tooth and “seals” off the tooth from cavity-causing agents like food and plaque. The teeth are prepared for the sealant application and the sealant is painted directly onto the chewing surface of each tooth and then hardens.

4 | Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride is a natural substance that helps strengthen teeth and prevent decay. Fluoride treatments are administered at this office as an important component of pediatric dental treatment. The fluoride is applied to the teeth in a gel, foam, or varnish form.

5 | Mouth Guards

We can create a custom-fitted mouthguard that will be much more comfortable and long-lasting than any generic products from a store.

6 | 6 Month Check-ins

In order to maintain the healthiest version of your child’s teeth and gums we recommend having them come in for check-ins every 6 months. Your child’s teeth are constantly changing are we are here for them every step of the way!
